He specializes in transaction and corporate advisory (including capital reorganizations), and in business contracts.

Mateusz advised PE funds, industry investors, State Treasury companies, and sole traders on several dozen share deals and asset deals (both on the side of the sellers and the buyers) carried out in a number of jurisdictions. He worked with entities from different sectors, including the automotive, loan, IT, pharmaceutical, healthcare industries; with insurance intermediaries, and builders of roads and motorways.

His experience covers advisory given throughout all the transaction stages, from a due diligence to the preparation of transaction documentation (including a SPA, SHA, JV agreement), negotiation thereof, and support in obtaining consent of the President of the Competition and Consumer Protection Office (UOKiK), and of the President of the Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) once the agreement is signed and the transaction is closed.

Mateusz is also interested in legal aspects of practising sports. He is the founder and Vice President of the Sport Law Association “Ius et Sport” and a member of the Appeal Commission of the Mazowiecki Football Association.
