Marta is an advocate and a doctor of legal sciences specialising in commercial law.
She draws on her expertise in negotiating complex technological and infrastructural agreements and in supporting Clients during negotiations of different technological agreements within the private and public sectors (contracts concerning mainframe system licences, maintenance, replacement, and upgrade; as well as the transfer of IT hardware, licenses, and the entire infrastructure as part of capital transactions). Also, Marta provides banking sector entities with services consisting of the implementation and/or upgrade of key IT systems.
She has over a dozen years’ experience in contracts, negotiations, and dispute resolution in court and through arbitration gained with investors, subcontractors, and consortium members from the construction, energy, and IT industries.
A winner of the Kosciuszko Foundation scholarship, Marta prepared her doctoral dissertation at the Columbia Law School in New York. Currently, she maintains her legal and scientific associations with Kozminski University in Warsaw. She is a university lecturer and an author of numerous scientific publications on commercial law, corporate law, and competition law.
